This Privacy Policy applies to the website (the “Site”) which is operated by Fact Check Puerto Rico (“Fact Check Puerto Rico”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) and sets forth Fact Check Puerto Rico’s practices with respect to your information. Fact Check Puerto Rico will not obtain personally-identifying information about you when you visit our Site, unless you choose to provide such information. For example, you may voluntarily provide us with your name, street address, email address or phone number. Non-Personally Identifying Information

Fact Check Puerto Rico collects what is called “non-personally identifying information” because it cannot be used to uniquely identify or contact an individual.  This type of information may include, but is not limited to, your IP address, browser type, device type used to access the Site, operating system, your use of features or applications on a Site and the websites linked from and pages visited.

We use tracking technologies such as cookies to collect usage information. A cookie is a small data file that websites commonly write to the website’s visitor’s hard drive when a website is visited. A cookie file contains information that can identify a return visitor each time he or she visits our Site. The data is encrypted for added security. The Site may contain links to other websites. Fact Check Puerto Rico is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of such other websites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of each website to which we may link. We may offer services that allow you to share information about our Site or its content with third-party social media networking websites such as Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, and others.  If you engage with our Site through third-party social networking websites, you may be allowing us access to certain information stored on those social networking websites, such as your public profile, list of friends, followers or connections, etc. The information we have access to from the social networking websites varies by website and is controlled by your privacy settings on that website. Any information we collect with respect to your use of functionality with social networking websites shall be treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Fact Check Puerto Rico may use third-parties to provide us with services such as advertising, data collection, analytics or marketing. Such third-parties may view, edit or set their own cookies or other tracking technologies on our Site. The use of these technologies by these third-parties is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by this Privacy Policy.

Privacy Rights In Certain Jurisdictions

We are headquartered in the United States. We do not knowingly contact or collect personal information from children under the age of 18. Our Site, information and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years of age or older. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a person under the age of 18 we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
